The AIReal Yoga™ Teacher Training curriculum creates an opportunity to explore the yoga asana with an aerial dynamic while keeping the integrity of a true yoga practice. The training is based in traditional yoga and incorporates aerial fundamentals to advance your practice and enable you to both progress as a student and embark on your teaching journey. Our hammocks are hung on a single point anchored with a swivel, allowing for flow, vinyasa, safe alignment and revolved postures.
We provide each Teacher Training graduate with a strong foundation to teach with strength, knowledge and an open and compassionate heart on the floor and in the air.
Our extensive training is now being offered both online as well as in person. Our in person trainings are small and intimate with a ton of one on one support. Our online trainings are perfect if you want to go at your own pace and reference back to the videos as often as you like. Our in person trainees will be given the opportunity to purchase the online trainings at a deeply discounted price as well.
This training cirriculum was curated by Carmen Curtis, founder and creator of AIReal Yoga. Carmen has over 26 years of experience teaching yoga and aerial and over 18 years teaching aerial yoga. She is a thought leader for aerial setting the standards in the aerial and aerial yoga community. She created this creating cirriculum from a space of extensive experience and knowledge. Carmen has a detailed style of educating, through compassion and empathy. And is a world-renowned yoga teacher, professional Cirque du Soleil performer and a former national gymnast.

Are you interested in deepening your yoga practice and expanding your understanding of yoga? YES!
Do I need to have my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training before taking this Course? It is preferred that you have completed your 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training prior to registering for this course. However, we are open to those teachers/advanced students that just want to deepen their practice and knowledge of yoga and aerial yoga. No pressure to have to teach others, as you are your own greatest teacher. If you have not taken your 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training and are still interested in this course in person, please Contact Us to discuss in more detail. If you are taking the course online to deepen your practice you may sign up at any time.
How many years of yoga practice should I have? It is preferred that you have a strong yoga practice before taking the AIReal Yoga 50 Hour Teacher Training. This is to ensure you have a foundational understanding of yoga and can translate your personal experience to your teaching. We also recommend taking some AIReal Yoga classes in conjunction with the training. We offer online classes for free to those taking the training online and we start each day with an AIReal Yoga class in our live trainings.
Does this training qualify for Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Credits? Yes! 50 Hours.
Does this training still qualify for Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Credits If I Take It Online? Yes, but they will be counted as non-contact hours. If you take the course between March 2020-June 30th 2020 it will count as contact hours due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Do you offer payment plans? YES!! Trainings will have the option for payment plans. For in person trainings please scroll down to the bottom of the page to access our payment plan on each training. For online trainings, if you need a payment plan, please reach out and we will be happy to create one for you.
IN PERSON TRAINING ONLY:
Is lodging included for the in-person training? No, lodging is not included in the workshop fee. Once you sign up, we will provide the group lodging suggestions. There are several inexpensive local hotels as well as AIR bnb options to consider.
Are meals included? No, meals are not included.
When should I plan to arrive? Please be prepared to begin as early as 8am each day. If you will be traveling from out of town for this training, please arrive the night prior to get ample rest and ensure you will arrive to the workshop on time.
What is the daily schedule? Typically each day begins with an AIReal yoga class followed by lecture, discussion and hands on training/practice. The schedule will be slightly different depending on each training. Days will start as early as 8am with an hour lunch. There will be free time each day to enjoy other activities in the area.
Refund Policy:
All requests to withdraw from the training must be received in writing directed to info@airealyoga.com. Those withdrawing 4 weeks prior to the start date are eligible for a refund, minus a non-refundable $500 deposit. After 4 weeks prior to start date of training there are no refunds, but you may transfer your paid spot to another person who is eligible to take to the training in your place, for a $250 administration fee + non-refundable deposit. (to be paid by the original attendee). If the training is filled, you may transfer your payment to another AIReal Yoga training of equal value within one year of date. Whereas, a training does not fill you will eligible to transfer your payment to another AIReal Yoga training minus a non-refundable $500 deposit within one year of date.There will be no refunds after one week before course instruction begins.
ONLINE TRAINING ONLY:
What is the benefit to taking this course online? You can go at your own pace, and have video reference guide to every posture forever.
How do I get certified after I complete the 50 Hour Training? If you would like to be certified as an AIReal Yoga instructor after you complete your online course, you may reach out to Carmen directly so she can asses you. carmen@airealyoga.com
