Wellspring: Be Well
I planned my schedule full of talks, yoga, and sound baths, I even went to a tea ceremony. And all I can say is well done Wellspring, not only did you fill up my body with an endless supply of delicious cucumber water and awesome yoga sessions, but you were also able to fill up my spirit, and my mind in ways that a yoga festival just cannot.
As a bonus, I got to spend a lot of time with the AIReal yoga family and see what a true global community feels like. The sister hood and love of all the AIReal Yoga teachers, and how they come together as a team, felt both inclusive and joyful to be around. We were able to support 25 students, which meant 25 rigs! And the teachers were so attentive that it felt like a breeze to make every body feel supported.
One of the best parts about the conference was the people attending the event. Even though I was technically at the event alone, it was easy for me to make friends that I was actually able to have real and authentic conversations with. Basically the event is a magnet for rad humans with big ideas and epic hearts.
I would say the thing I loved most about the event was the affirmation that being authentic and vulnerable and real is what people truly want, we just have to believe in that and know it in our hearts. I think we all know this intuitively because it is what we seek too, but it feels really good to hear it from people who are changing the game in big ways by just being themselves. It did not necessarily teach me to be more authentic, or kind, but rather it changed my outlook on that being the norm and not the exception. It felt really good to be surrounded by leaders, and humans that not only want to see the world more well but are actually making it that way.
To say I am grateful to be able to attend the event would be an understatement. I am still basking in the sense of calm about the world, our society and what is truly possible if we all move from a space of love. I know its still a year away but I honestly can’t wait for the next one.
